Robert Roode Returns, Dana Brooke Moves to RAW
Robert Roode made his return to WWE RAW last night while Dana Brooke has been moved to the brand.
Robert Roode Returns After COVID Forced Hiatus
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre threw an open challenge for a title match to the WWE RAW roster, only for those who have not lost the title match to him already. Dolph Ziggler wanted to face the Scottish Psychopath but the condition made it impossible since Ziggler already lost the WWE title match at Extreme Rules in July.
But Ziggler did not sit idle and revealed his tag team partner Robert Roode to challenge McIntyre. This was Roode’s first appearance on WWE TV since the onset of COVID-19.
Roode was in his hometown in Canada all this time and could not travel to WWE tapings due to travel restrictions. WrestleVotes broke the news about Roode’s return last week. Roode provided good competition to WWE Champion but still could not dethrone McIntyre, who ended the match with a Claymore kick.
Dana Brooke Moved to RAW Roster
Another surprise came earlier on the show as Dana Brooke made her return to WWE RAW as Mandy Rose’s tag team partner. Mandy Rose was moved to RAW roster earlier this month. Rose and Brooke then defeated Natalya and Lana in a short match.
This is a peculiar move by WWE since the Draft 2020 is announced to start from next week. While Mandy Rose’s move can be attributed to the storyline, Dana Brooke’s move could have come under Draft.
