RAW Women’s Title Match Announced for Elimination Chamber 2021
Asuka will defend her WWE RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans at WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 PPV, WWE has announced.
Lacey Evans is currently managed by Ric Flair in a feud with Charlotte Flair. Evans has cost Asuka and Flair the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles at Royal Rumble pre-show as well as interferred in several of her matches.
This week, Charlotte and Evans met face to face with Ric Flair also present. During the promo battle, Evans revealed that she is informed that she will get RAW Women’s title shot if she manages to defeat Charlotte in her next match.
This was followed by a singles match between the two. The match ended after Flair got enraged and kept slamming Evans in the corner, leading to a DQ call from the referee in Evans’ favor.
Soon after, the commentary team confirmed the title match between Asuka and Evans for Elimination Chamber 2021. This is the second match to be announced for the show which takes place on 21 February 2021 from Tropicana Fields in St. Petersburg, FL.
