WWE NXT Superstar Pete Dunne’s Contract To Expire Soon

According to the latest reports, Pete Dunne is also close to becoming a free agent. 

Fightful Select reported that former NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne’s contract will expire very soon. The fans have been waiting to see him on the main roster but it won’t happen unless he renews his contract with the company. 

The sources are indicating that Dunne’s contract will expire after the SummerSlam weekend. However, the date hasn’t been confirmed yet. Fightful is reporting that both Adam Cole and Pete Dunne are facing a similar situation and neither of them has agreed to a new contract. 

Pete Dunne is one of the most successful and very first NXT UK champions. He also had the longest title reign in which he held the belt for a total of 685 days. Dunne is also said to be one of the best technical wrestlers in WWE who has the potential to put on some banger matches which he already proved. 

Neither WWE nor Pete Dunne confirmed or commented on this situation. Now it will be interesting whether The Bruiserweight will switch the company after his successful run or will he decide to stick with WWE a bit longer.
