Jon Moxley and PAC will face each other at the 23 October episode of AEW Dynamite from Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
This week, Moxley and PAC were tag team partners against in the match against Kenny Omega and Adam “Hangman” Page. The storyline was continued after PAC had defeated Kenny Omega(at AEW All Out 2019) and Page(at AEW Dynamite debut episode) in a singles match.
After Moxley defeated Shawn Spears last week on Dynamite, Kenny Omega came out with some barbed wire equipment and asked Moxley to fight. But before they could start their brawl, PAC attacked Omega from behind. PAC was actually upset that he was not considered for the AEW World Title shot.
During the end of their match this week, Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley once again grabbed a barbed wire broom and a wired baseball bat respectively. As they swung with their weapons, PAC snatched them to prevent a disqualification. This infuriated Moxley, who then hit PAC with the Death Rider DDT, and left him stranded.
Omega and Page finished off the match with V-trigger and dead shot and pinned PAC. This was the first time that PAC had been pinned in AEW. A few minutes later, the commentary team announced the match between PAC and Moxley for the next week’s episode from Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh. The lineup for next week’s show is as follows:
- Jon Moxley vs PAC
- SCU vs Dark Order – AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinal
- Lucha Bros vs Private Party – AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinal
Jon Moxley is also announced to face Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear 2019 show. Their match was earlier scheduled for AEW All Out 2019 but Moxley caught a staph infection and had to withdraw from the show. PAC replaced Moxley in that match and defeated Kenny Omega with a referee stoppage.
