NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles Match Announced for NXT Halloween Havoc
Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT 2.0 confirmed that Io Shirai and Zoey Stark will defend their tag team titles in a triple threat match against the team of Gigi Dolin and Jaycy Jane and the pair of Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc.
In tonight’s episode, the Toxic Attraction(Gigi Dolin and Jayce Jane) challenged the current NXT women’s tag team champions for a match at Halloween Havoc. Later, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta defeated Sarray and Amari Miller in a tag team match.
After the match, the team of Hartwell and Pirotta got involved in a brawl with the Toxic attraction and the current tag team champions, Io Shirai and Zoey Stark.
As a result, WWE officially confirmed that the NXT women’s tag team match at NXT Halloween Havoc will be a triple threat one. It will be Shirai and Stark’s third title defense. They won the championship after defeating Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell at the Great American Bash.
NXT Championship match between Tomasso Ciampa and Bron Breakker and NXT Women’s Championship match were already confirmed.
