Darby vs Jeff, FTW Title Match & More Set for AEW Dynamite May 11
AEW Dynamite Line-up is now revealed for May 11, 2022 episode with the start of Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and FTW Championship match.
FTW Champion Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs wanted an AEW Tag Team Championship match against Jurrasic Express. Jungle Boy asked for a shot at FTW Championship in return. The pair will clash at Dynamite next week.
Darby Allin and Jeff Hardy will face off in the quarterfinal match of Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Darby and Jeff have teamed up for tag matches upon Jeff’s arrival to AEW. In the second match for the tournament, Adam Cole will face Dax Harwood. The winner of these two matches will face-off in the semifinal.
Additionally, MJF will reveal the conditions for his match with Wardlow. MJF and Wardlow have been feuding since Wardlow helped out CM Punk at AEW Revolution PPV. As Wardlow continues to be contracted with MJF, the Salt of the Earth has tried to get him beat up by putting him in matches against bigger wrestlers like Butcher, Lance Archer and most recently, W. Morrissey.
After Wardlow defeated Morrissey, he took down the security and told MJF that he will continue this until MJF gives him his contract. MJF replied that he will release from the contract if Wardlow defeats him in a match, but he will have two conditions for the match which will be revealed next week.
CM Punk was not at Dynamite this week, but he will return in action next week in Long Island to face hometown star John Silver.
