The main event for WWE’s newest PPV, Day 1 has been confirmed. Brock Lesnar will face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at WWE’s first PPV event of 2022.
Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown featured the return of the Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar. He kicked off the episode and stated that he would be supporting Sami Zayn when he faced Roman Reigns for the championship in the main event.
Sami Zayn wanted to have this match on Day 1. However, Lesnar insisted Sami have it tonight. Before the main event, Sami Zayn came out and cut out a promo on how he would upset Reigns with the help of Lesnar.
However, Brock Lesnar came out and attacked Sami Zayn. After the assault, the Bloodline came out and Roman Reigns won the match in a few seconds.
After the main event, it has been confirmed that Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns for the Universal championship will main event WWE Day 1 PPV event that will take place on January 1 from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
