Kurt Angle’s Birthday, Tag Title Match Set for WWE Smackdown December 9
WWE has set the lineup for the Friday Night SmackDown episode of 9th December 2022.
Sheamus and Drew McIntyre will get a shot at Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. They will face the winner of the tag team title match from RAW December 5 edition where Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso will defend the titles against Matt Riddle & Elias.
WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will return to the screen to celebrate his birthday next week. It remains to be seen if he gets involved in any other program also. Kurt Angle has recently stated that he would be open to doing a tag team match in the future.
The Olympic Gold Medalist Angle remains in a legends contract with WWE. His most recent WWE appearance came on August 29 edition of RAW in his hometown of Pittsburg where he recreated their iconic cards segment with Edge.
Shotzi and Shayna Baszler will face off in another singles match next week on Smackdown. Recently, Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez have been in conflict with Baszler and Ronda Rousey.
Shotzi has won SmackDown Women’s title #1 contender title by winning the six-pack challenge. WWE SmackDown Women Champion Ronda Rousey and her friend Shayna Baszler have been after Shotzi ever since. When Raquel Rodriguez wanted to help Shotzi, she was injured by Ronda and Shayna on the final SmackDown before Survivor Series backstage and injured her arm.
WWE SmackDown episode of December 9, 2022, will air from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburg, PA. The current line-up is as follows:
