Eddie Edwards has decided to continue his tenure with IMPACT/TNA Wrestling.

On Thursday, December 14, IMPACT Wrestling announced through social media that Edwards has extended his contract with the promotion. As reported by PWInsider, Edwards opted to renew his agreement with the company several months before the expiration of his previous deal.

Eddie Edwards shared with PWInsider.com that he believes his fans and friends aren’t surprised by his decision to stay, given his strong feelings for the company. He emphasized his enthusiasm for the current momentum, especially with TNA’s return and the surrounding excitement.

Edwards expressed that for him, it was an obvious choice to remain and that he’s delighted to continue being part of the company for as long as possible.

Eddie Edwards’ most recent match for the company was at Final Resolution event. He partnered with Brian Myers in a bout for IMPACT World Tag Team Championship against the reigning champions, ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey), resulting in a defeat for Edwards and Myers.

Eddie Edwards made his debut in IMPACT/TNA in 2014 alongside Davey Richards. As a team, they secured IMPACT/TNA World Tag Team Championships on five distinct occasions from 2014 to 2016. Across his nearly decade-long tenure with the company, Edwards also attained three separate reigns with both the IMPACT/TNA World Championship and X-Division Championship.
