Candice LeRae Reportedly Become a Free Agent

According to the latest reports, Candice LeRae has done with WWE NXT and became a free agent. 

Earlier this year, the words came out that LeRae’s contract will expire in Spring. But it was also reported that WWE would likely extend her contract due to her pregnancy leave and injuries. There was also a talk that Candice LeRae might stay with the promotion till 2023. 

Fightful Select has confirmed that Candice LeRae’s contract with WWE has expired. The promotion also moved her to the official alumni section. 

As a result, Candice LeRae also became a free agent just like her husband Johnny Gargano. The latter left WWE back in December 2021, and he hasn’t made an appearance since then. 

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae welcomed their first child in February. It was speculated that Johnny would not return to the ring for some time as he wanted to dedicate time to his family before returning to the squared circle. 

Meanwhile, Candice LeRae last wrestled at NXT Great American Bash on July 6, 2021, where she and Indi Hartwell lost the NXT women’s tag-team titles match against Io Shirai and Zoey Stark.
