AJ Styles Reveals His Favourite Match in WWE

AJ Styles has revealed his favorite match that he has been involved in WWE on WWE’s The Bump.

AJ Styles made his WWE debut in the men’s Royal Rumble match in 2016. The moment was like a dream come true for many WWE & Styles’ fans. Styles followed that match with a blockbuster feud with John Cena that saw him defeat Cena twice at Money in the Bank 2016 & SummerSlam 2016.

The pair then faced-off one more time at Royal Rumble 2017. By this time, Styles had won the WWE Championship and was defending it at the event against Cena. The match ended with Cena winning the WWE Championship and equaled Ric Flair’s record of 16 World titles.

Now, AJ Styles has dubbed this match at Royal Rumble 2017 match as his favorite match. While talking to WWE’s The Bump, Styles pointed out how the action never left the ring during the match.

“It was awesome! I think about this match with John Cena, and I would say, out of all the matches I’ve had, this was the best one. A lot of people don’t know this, but we never left the ring in this match. We never went outside of the ring; it was all in the ring, which is not really heard of these days. I’m really proud of that match.”

All three clashes between Styles and Cena were top-notch matches. The SummerSlam match between them even won the Match of the Year award.
