AEW Rampage Results March 10, 2023, Live Updates

Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Rampage March 10, 2023 episode which was pre-taped earlier this week.(Spoilers are available here).

The Acclaimed were in action in a tag team match against an unannounced tag team. Former AEW Women’s Champions Nyla Rose and Riho clashed in a singles match. Konosuke Takeshita took on LFI’s Preston Vance(Perro Peligrosso).

Action Andretti and Sammy Guevara clashed in a rematch on Rampage while we also heard from Mark Briscoe over the future of ROH Tag Team Championship. Get the results from AEW Rampage March 10, 2023 episode with live updates, winners & highlights below

RESULTS

Sammy Guevara defeated Action Andretti in a singles match via pinfall.
The Acclaimed(Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) defeated Starboy Charlie & Jack Cartwheel in a tag team match via pinfall.
Konosuke Takeshita defeated Preston Vance in a singles match via pinfall.
Riho defeated Nyla Rose in a singles match via pinfall.

LIVE UPDATES

Action Andretti vs Sammy Guevara

Sammy is posing in the corner as the bell rings. Andretti gets him down with a double leg takedown and unloads. More takedowns from Andretti and more flurry of punches. He hits a big chop and Sammy rolls to the floor. Andretti hits more chops on the floor before tackling Sammy into the barricade. Sammy turns it around by sending Andretti into the barricade. Andretti tackles him against the apron.

Sammy rolls out of the ring after Andretti throws him in. Andretti hits a suicide dive before hitting more chops. He sends Sammy into the steel steps once again. Back to the ring, Andretti hits a shotgun dropkick to get a two-count. Sammy rolls to the floor once again. He fights back to slam Andretti into the apron.

Andretti hits a clothesline from the apron. Sammy hangs onto the ropes to avoid for a while before Andretti dumps him to the floor once again. Andretti goes for a dive but Sammy catches him with a knee strike midair to take over the control. We cut to a break.

Andretti tries to get back to his feet and fights off a chin lock. Andretti lands on his feet on a suplex before they collide in a crossbody off the ropes. They get up and trade forearms. Andretti hits hanging neckbreaker and another neckbreaker. Sammy rolls to the floor again. Andretti hits a moonsault before taking him back to the the ring.

Andretti hits a sprinboard 450 splash to get a two-count. Andretti once again counters Sammy with standing Spanish Fly to get a close two-count. Sammy gets his knees up on a standing shooting star press. Sammy hits an elevated DDT but Andretti rolls to the floor before Sammy can cover him. Sammy clears the table and sets up Andretti over it. Andretti gets up and attacks him on the apron. Andretti nails a superkick to set up Sammy on the table.

Andretti goes to the top and dives off there to put Sammy through the table. Andretti puts Sammy back into the ring now. Daniel Garcia pushes Andretti off the top as the referee checks on Sammy. Sammy gets Andretti up and hits GTH to get the pinfall.

Winner – Sammy Guevara

We get a video from Daniel Garcia. He says he is a little too real and a little too crazy for his own good.

The Acclaimed(Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) vs Starboy Charlie & Jack Cartwheel

The Acclaimed isolate Starboy Charlie after quick work on Cartwheel. Bowens hits a spinebuster on Charlie and Bowens hits Mic drop elbow drop to get the pinfall.

Winner – The Acclaimed

We hear from Chris Jericho who hypes JAS trios title shot against The Elite and House of Black.

Preston Vance vs Konosuke Takeshita

They start with back-and-forth action and Takeshita sends Vance to the floor to hit him with a crossbody. We cut to a break.

Takeshita lands a big forearm. Vance hits a pump boot. Takeshita blocks a lariat and hits a German suplex. They drop each other with a discus elbow at the same time. Takeshita hits a boot before a knee off the second rope. Takeshita hits Blue Thunderbomb to get a near fall. Takeshita hits a ripcord knee but Jose The Assistant puts Vance’s leg on the ropes to break the pinfall.

Takeshita drops Jose with an elbow. Vance hits a discus lariat for a near fall when Takeshita gets back into the ring. Vance puts on the Full Nelson lock but Takeshita slams him into the corner. Takeshita avoids a discus lariat and gets Vance into a backslide to get the pinfall.

Winner – Konosuke Takeshita

Shane “Swerve” Strickland cuts a promo backstage and says he underestimated Keith Lee. He talks about Lee taking out Trench and Parker Boudreaux, but Swerve has more bullet in his armour.

Mark Briscoe is in the ring and says he is here to represent Dem Boys. He brings up The Briscoes being 13 times ROH World Tag Team Championship, but its time to move up. Briscoe reveals his discussion with Tony Khan and says they are booking a ladder match and call it “Reach for the Sky” ladder match for the ROH titles. He also introduces the first team in the match – Lucha Bros. Lucha Bros come out to the ring.

Nyla Rose vs Riho

Nyla pushes Riho to the corner but she escapes with her speed. Nyla hits a shoulder tackle before Riho avoids an elbow drop. Nyla counters a DDT and hits a splash for a two-count. Riho hits a couple of dropkicks to force Nyla to the floor. She brings her back into the ring after a brief altercation with Marina Shafir.

Nyla hits a suplex. Riho comes back with a crossbody off the top. Nyla moves to the floor and Riho hits a dive. Nyla gets back in and distracts the referee. Shafir drops Riho on the floor to take us to a break.

Riho hits a tijeras as we return from the break. Nyla hits her with a splash. Riho fights back on the top rope. Riho hits a diving hurricanrana and jumping knee strike in the corner. She hits a diving foot stomp to get a near fall. Nyla drops her on the ropes and hits a guillotine knee drop to get a near fall.

Nyla goes to the top again but misses Swanton Bomb. Riho hits a bridging Northern Light suplex to get a near fall. Nyla ducks a running knee and Riho crashes into the turnbuckle. Nyla then misses a corner splash to crash into the turnbuckle. Riho manages to hit a crucifix bomb. Nyle rolls out of the crucifix to break the pin. Shafir tries to pull Riho out but Riho kicks her away. Riho rolls through and gets Nyla in a pin to get the three count.

Winner – Riho

After the match, Nyla attacks Riho with a powerbomb. Shafir also beat her up for a while. Toni Storm, Saraya and Ruby Soho come out and paint “L” on Riho.
