Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Rampage July 14, 2023 episode which was pre-taped earlier on Wednesday(Spoilers available here).

Women’s Owen Hart Cup Semifinal is likely going to be the main event between Athena and Willow Nightingale. Taya Valkyrie will be in action and so will Konosuke Takeshita. We will hear from Toni Storm and Saraya. Lance Archer takes on Trent Baretta in a singles match. Angelo Parker & Matt Menar for JAS will face Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee.

  • Naturally Limitless(Dustin Rhodes & Keith Lee) defeated Angelo Parker & Matt Menard in a tag team match via pinfall.
  • Taya Valkyrie defeated Izzy McKQueen in a singles match via pinfall.

LIVE UPDATES

Naturally Limitless(Dustin Rhodes & Keith Lee) vs Angelo Parker & Matt Menard

Lee starts with scoop slams on both opponents. He drops his partner Rhodes on the opponents. Menard tries to counter against Rhodes but he hits armdrags. Menard rakes his face and corners him to hit shoulder tackles and punches. Dustin counters and nails punches on Menard. He also drops Parker from the apron when he tries to interfere. Punches from the second rope from Dustin. They end up bringing Dustin to the floor where Parker hits more shots. Back to the ring, quick tags between Parker and Menard to keep Dustin under control. Menard sends Dustin into the corner with a hard whip. Parker comes in to double team manuever including a hard whip, a drop toe hold and a knee strike to take us to a break.

Menard hits a low dropkick on Lee to trip him from the apron. Dustin hits a back body drop to counter but Lee is not in his corner. Dustin hits a snap powerslam and tags in Lee. Lee hits corner clotheslines before sending Menard into Parker. He also throws Dustin into both opponents. Menard and Parker push Lee into Dustin on the apron. They hit a double DDT. Dustin comes in to break the pinfall. Menard and Parker bring down Dustin with drop toe hold. Lee gets up and throws Menard to the floor. He hits Supernova to get the pinfall.

Winners – Naturally Limitless

We cut to QTV segment where QT Marshall says he will get things cleared with Powerhouse Hobbs at Collision tomorrow. Harley Cameron says her track is trending at #12 in Turkey. Johnny TV gets a footage of her jumping out of the pool and challenging The Acclaimed for a trios match next week.

Taya Valkyrie vs Izzy McKqueen

Taya hits a spear right out of the gate. She hits a curbstomp next to get the pinfall.

Winner – Taya Valkyrie

Toni calls her a loser because she is a Canadian. Taya tells her to be worried about her championship. Toni says she has already beaten everyone. Taya says she has never beaten her. Toni says she never had an opportunity. Taya challenges her for the title match at Battle of the Belts. Taya tries to insinuate that Toni is worreid. Toni says she is not worried and she will embrass her in front of her friends and family.

Lance Archer vs Trent Baretta

Archer tackles Baretta before the bell. He keeps manhandling Baretta for a while and keeps beating him around. Baretta blocks a powerbomb and hits a punch. Baretta uses a low bridge to send him to the floor. He hits a dropkick through the ropes. Archer catches his suicide dive but Baretta slips out and hits a superkick on Archer from the apron. Archer is sent back to the ring. Jake Roberts hits Baretta with a clothesline on the floor. We cut to a break.

Taylor comes in to check on Baretta but Archer kicks him away. Archer takes the mic and asks Orange Cassidy to come out as he wants a shot at AEW International title. Cassidy comes out and the match is made official by the commentary team. Archer catches Cassidy for a chokeslam but Roberts tells him not to kill the Golden Goose and wait until Saturday.

Winner – Lance Archer

Jeff Jarrett and company are backstage arguing over Sonjay Dutt sliping in the guitar during Blind Eliminator tag match last week. Hardy’s group counter in the promo. Both these sides will be in Royal Rampage.

Konsuke Takeshita vs Mentallo

Don Callis takes the mic before the match and says Mentallo is getting this chance not only because he is a local, but also because he is Kenny Omega’s childhood friend. He says this is another reason for Omega being weak.

The match starts and Takeshita starts strong. Mentallo comes back with a corner splash. Takeshita hits a big boot. Mentallo hits a back heel kick. Takeshita runs over Mentallo with a clothesline. Mentallo blocks powerdrive knee and hits a dragon screw leg. A suplex gets blocked but Mentallo hits a dropkick to the knee and hits a bridging German suplex to get a two-count. Takeshita meets him on the top rope and hits a superplex. Takeshita hits a piledriver and a senton from the top rope to get the pinfall.

Winner – Konosuke Takeshita

Dark Order gets interviewed by Renee Paquette who asks about a low blow on Hangman last week. John Silver replies because Hangman deserves it. Everyone leaves them and they are sick of it. Hangman’s betrayal hurts the most because they made him the World Champion. Last week was Dark Order’s resurrection, and either you are Dark Order, or not!

Athena vs Willow Nightingale – Women’s Owen Hart Semifinal

Willow throws Athena down. She hits a shoulder tackle next. Athena hits her with a tackle with a misdirection. Willow hits back with tijeras and nails a running forearm in the corner. Athena slips to the floor. She tries to catch Willow on the way back but misses an elbow drop. She hits a dragon screw leg on the ropes. Athena hits kicks to the back. Athena keeps control as we cut to a break.

Athena comes back with a big tackle as we return. Some back and forth action follows until Athena drops her face first and runs her over with an elbow. They trade chops for a while. Athena fires machine gun chops to get Willow down. She follows up with a standing moonsault to get a two-count. Willow counters with a cover before hitting a Death Valley Driver to get a near fall. Willow pulls down her straps. Athena hits a diving chop block. Willow counters with a jackknife cover to get the pinfall.

Winner – Willow Nightingale

Willow celebrates her win on the floor as the show goes off the air.
