Also, the Inner Circle’s Santana and Ortiz will take on the Private Party. And more!!
Nick Jackson vs Rey Fenix
After the pyro and welcome from the commentary team, Nick Jackson makes his way to the ring. Fenix follows him and they start the match. They lock up and start running the ropes. Nick gets the first takedown with a shoulder tackle but Fenix pops right back up to hit a dropkick. They continue to have a nice exchange of quick moves and counters until they come to a stalemate with dropkicks at the same time. Fenix takes control with a springboard headbutt and an arm drag out of the corner.
Nick fires back with a kick to the side of the head. Nick misses a dive to the outside and Fenix hits a cutter on the floor. Ray hits a perfect senton bomb from the top rope for a two count. Nick hits a series of strikes and a bulldog in the corner. He gets a two count with a running knee to the face. Fenix blocks a superkick with his foot. Jackson hits a wild hurricanrana from the top rope for a close two count. They have an exchange that ends with both men hitting superkicks.
Ray hits a hurricanrana from the apron to the floor. Nick comes back with a series of kicks before Ray puts him down with another cutter for two. They kick each other in the face at the same time before Nick hits a German suplex on the apron. Jackson spikes Fenix on his head before hitting a Canadian destroyer for a near fall. He transitions into a Sharpshooter. Fenix breaks free and drills him with a superkick and springboard spin kick. He plants Jackson with a package slam for the pin and the win.
Winner- Rey Fenix
Britt Baker vs Hikaru Shida
They start with multiple arm-drags on each other. Both try for pin attempts but don’t even get one-counts. Shida misses the penalty kick. The crowd gets behind Baker with a “She’s a dentist” chant. Britt looks for the lockjaw early, but Shida is able to fight it off and then roll out of it. We go to a split-screen commercial with Baker working over Shida, german suplex, cover, two. Shida leaps off a steel chair at ringside to hit a knee to the face.
Baker is bleeding from the hit but she makes a comeback and yanks Shida’s arm down over the top rope. Shida blocks a neckbreaker but Baker ends up hitting a nice DDT for a two count. They begin trading strikes in the middle of the ring. Shida hits a hip toss and a backbreaker for a two count. Baker takes a running knee to the face but she counters the pin into a submission. She hits a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Shida pokes her in the eye for her own near fall. The Japanese Superstar hits a suplex slam for another near fall followed by a running knee for the pin and the win.
Winner- Hikaru Shida
