AEW Dynamite February 21, 2024 episode was the second last Dynamite episode before Revolution 2024 PPV and featured a big trios match where Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage faced Hangman Adam Page, Hook and Rob Van Dam.

Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli faced FTR in a tag team match. Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo would be in action in singles match. More build-up for the PPV continued. Check below for the results and updates from AEW Dynamite February 21, 2024 episode.

RESULTS & UPDATES


Blackpool Combat Club(Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli) vs FTR(Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) ended in a time-limit draw. The two sides continued to brawl after the match.

Orange Cassidy was interviewed backstage where he revealed that he was cleared barely, but he would continue to be in action until he is.

FTR duo were interviewed backstage where they challenged Moxley and Claudio for a tag team match at Revolution.

Orange Cassidy defeated Mike Bennett in a singles match.

Backstage, Ruby Soho and Angelo Parker were getting ready for their date. An SUV get into the arena behind them and Ric Flair get down from it.

Ric Flair is interviewed by Renee Paquette and said that he was not happy to not be involved in Sting’s last match in the last few weeks. Flair said he had to consider his options now. He went to The Young Bucks’ room and told them that he had a proposition for them.

Daniel Garcia was brought out to the ring by Tony Schiavone. Schiavone informed us that Adam Copeland was sidelined, and Garcia has therefore become the #1 contender for TNT Championship and he would face Christian Cage at Revolution. Garcia said he always felt that he would have beaten Copeland last week if the match was completed. He thanked the fans to be in his support amid all this. Christian Cage came out with others from Patriarchy. Cage said the title match should not happen at Revolution, and he did not care about Garcia’s dance moves. Cage brought up Garcia’s dead father and called him a piece of crap. Garcia dared him to get into the ring. Cage instead sent Nick Wayne and Killshot but Matt Mennard helped Garcia as he ran out with steel chairs.

Hangman Adam Page, Rob Van Dam and Hook were backstage with Renee Paquette. Page told the other two that they should be focused on hurting Swerve Strickland as much as possible.

Toni Storm defeated Syndi Winell(enhancement talent) via submission. Storm used Deonna Purrazzo’s submission move to get the finish.

Deonna Purrazzo defeated Madison Rayne via submission using Storm’s submission “Break a Leg”. After the match, Storm tried to attack Purrazzo with her shoe but Purrazzo took her down.

Purrazzo was then distracted by Mariah May from ringside and that allowed Storm to lock in a submission on Purrazzo.

Tony Schiavone brought out Wardlow who talked about how the rocket on his back was removed. He continued to talk about beating up CM Punk, being better than MJF and current AEW World Champion Samoa Joe, and how he looks better in suits and should be the champion.

A “Meat Madness” was announced for Revolution where Wardlow would be in action.

Don Callis was with Konosuke Takeshita and Powerhouse Hobbs backstage and claimed that Will Ospreay and Takeshita were the two best in-ring wrestlers. He also informed that Hobbs would be in Meat Madness.

Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland and Brian Cage defeated Hangman Adam Page, Hook and Rob Van Dam in a trios match. The finish came after Cage pushed RVD off the top rope and Joe put him in Coquina clutch.
