Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Dynamite episode of November 3, 2021 episode from Independence, MO near Kansas City.

Jon Moxley vs Orange Cassidy was advertised earlier but Moxley is taking a break from the ring to complete an inpatient Alcohol Treatment Program. AEW has not announced any replacement for Moxley yet and it remains unclear if Orange Cassidy gets a bye.

Anna Jay and Jammie Hayter will face-off in the first-round match of a slow-moving AEW TBS Women’s Championship match. Andrade El Idolo will face Cody Rhodes in another exciting match which we did not see coming a week back.

Usually, AEW has its complete match card announced days before the show, but that is not the case here. At least 2 or 3 more matches will take place on the show, which are yet to be announced.

  • Kenny Omega defeated Alan “5” Angels in a singles match via pinfall.
  • FTR(Cash Wheeler & Dash Harwood)(c) defeated Samuray Del Sol & Aero Star via pinfall to retain AAA Tag Team Championship.
  • Jammie Hayter defeated Anna Jay via pinfall in AEW TBS Women’s Championship Round 1 Match.
  • Andrade El Idolo defeated Cody Rhodes in a singles match via pinfall.
  • Miro defeated Orange Cassidy via pinfall in the AEW World Title Eliminator Semifinal match.

Kenny Omega vs Alan “5” Angels

Angels starts the match with a big dropkick. Omega sends him in to the corner. He fires with some chops and punches. Omega stomps on him a few times. Angels hits a single-leg dropkick next. He avoids the snap suplex with an armdrag but Omega keeps control with a cutter and a bullbog.

Omega misses a V-trigger and Angels hits him with Gamengiri and a suicide dive. They brawl on the floor before Angels hits a moonsault and a splash for a near fall. Omega gets his knees up on the second splash. Kenny hits a big spinebuster for a near fall.

Angels stops a powerbomb before they trade a few strikes. Omega ends up connecting V-Trigger. He follows with a few more V-Triggers to get the pin.

Winner – Kenny Omega

Omega asks for steel chairs after the match and was looking to hit One-Winged Angel on Angels through them. Adam Page runs out for the save. He goes the buckshot lariat but Omega avoids it and runs out of the ring. Page sees AEW World title lying there in the ring and tells Omega to pick it up. He adds that he only has 10 more days to hang onto it.

Malakai Black gets a pre-recorded promo where he talks about Julius Ceaser getting betrayed not only by Brutus but many others from his council.

CM Punk Speaks

CM Punk comes out to the ring and starts talking about Jon Moxley. He says he is proud of Moxley for taking this step. He then brings up Eddie Kingston and brings up how he interrupted him last week. He asks Eddie to be in St. Louis at Rampage this Friday. He says an opportunity opened up to replace Moxley in the AEW World Title Tournament, but he passed on due to Eddie.

Miro gets a pre-recorded promo. He addresses God after getting drafted in the Title Eliminator tournament. He wonders whether this is an opportunity for him or God is just toying with him. He claims that he will beat Cassidy tonight, will win at Full Gear and become the AEW World Champion. Only then, he will be redeemed.

Adam Cole and the Young Bucks are interviewed backstage. Cole says last week’s loss to Dark Order was a fluke. Nick Jackson says they are not afraid of anything. He flinches when Christian Cage comes behind him. Luchasaurus also comes up to start a brawl. They go to the stage. Jungle Boy takes everyone out with a dive.

Christian spears Matt Jackson. He was looking for kill switch but Nick cuts him off with a superkick. Luchasaurus rops Matt and chokeslams Nick on his back. Jungle Boy puts Adam Cole in the snear trap and puts him to sleep. Christian hits him with a con chair-to to end this segment.

FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) (c) vs Aerostar & Samuray Del Sol – AAA World Tag Team Championship

Cash Wheeler sends Samuray to the corner and unloads. Samuray brings him down with headscissors. He hits dropkicks on both Harwood and Wheeler. Aerostar tags and in Harwood cuts off one of his flips. Harwood hits him chops on the corner. He brings in Wheeler and Aero Star hits them with moonsault.

FTR keeps control during the break. Luchadors runs riot with quick moves on both opponents. Harwood hits Samuray with a brainbuster on the floor. Aerostar goes for a victory roll but Wheeler reverses it and hangs onto the ropes to get the pin.

Winner – FTR

A segment that was recorded last week. Tony Schiavone presents Hikaru Shida with a trophy to become first woman with 50 wins in AEW. Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrrero comes up to congratulate her,. Rose say Shida will hit a full-on roadblock when she faces her in the TBS tournament.

Inner Circle Choose Full Gear Opponents

All five members of Inner Circle come out to the ring. Jericho reminds that they get to choose three members from American Top Team. Dan Lambert comes out with Men of the Year and American Top Team members. Lambert hands an open contract for Inner Circle to choose members from his team. After crowd boos him, he asks to put some respect to his name for forming this gym and making it the most successful in the business.

Jake Hager chooses Junior Dos Santos and Santana chooses Andre Arlovski. Paige Vanzant wanted in the match and claims that she could take on all 5 alone. Jericho says they will instead choose the number 1 member of American Top Team Dan Lambert.

Tony Schiavone is backstage with Matt Sydal, Lee Moriarty, Dante Martin, and Lio Rush. Sydal congratulates Martin on beating him on Friday and if he wants to train with Lio that’s fine. He adds that he is training with Lee Moriarty, and he challenges them to a tag team match. Rush accepts that challenge.

Anna Jay vs Jammie Hayter

A headlock takeover from Anna Jay to start. Hayter hits headscissors and puts on a side headlock. They spill to the floor. Anna kicks her to the barricade. Hayyter fires back with a kick as they return to the ring. We cut to a break.

Anna drops Hayter a few times and smashes her face into the turnbuckles. Anna hits a DDT next. Rebel and Britt Baker runs a distraction and Hayter runs Jay over with a lariat to get the win.

Winner – Jammie Hayter

Cody Rhodes vs Andrade El Idolo

They brawl on the apron now. Cody takes a big shot Andrade’s face. Andrade avoids a move off the top and hits a missile dropkick. Andrade cuts off Cody in between a move and he lands on the floor. We see that Andrade is working on his knee during the picture in picture break.

We return as Cody hits back elbows. He hits quick clotheslines and a powerslam. He hypes up and goes for double underhook, but Andrade avoids it and hits him with his signature back elbow for a two-count. Andrade goes for the running double knees but Cody cuts him off with a clothesline. Andrade counters crossroads with three amigos suplexes. He sends Cody into the turnbuckles with the last of those suplexes.

Andrade hits running double knees in the corner but could not get the pin. He misses split-legged moonsault. Cody starts rocking him with jabs before dropping him with a big punch. Andrade puts on the figure four leg lock. Cody is right in the middle of the ring. He has no choice but to turn it around. Andrade grabs the ropes to break it.

Andrade’s assistant Jose tries to interfere but Arn Anderson takes care of him. The referee gets distracted though and FTR comes from under the ring to attack Cody. Andrade takes him back to the ring and hits the hammerlock DDT to get the pin.

Winner – Andrade El Idolo
