Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Big Business 2024 Dynamite special on March 13, 2024, which will be live from Boston, MA.

There is high anticipation for the arrival of Mercedes Mone, which is not advertised but well known among fans. Apart from this, Samoa Joe is set to defend AEW World Championship against Wardlow. Kazuchika Okada & The Young Bucks will face Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Meido & PAC.

Willow Nightingale will take on Riho in a singles match. Darby Allin is set for a big singles match against Jay White. Hook and Chris Jericho will team up with The Gates of Agony. Tune in below for the complete results and live updates from AEW Dynamite Big Business 2024.

RESULTS & LIVE UPDATES


Renee Paquette was backstage talking about tonight’s show when a car entered the arena behind her. The car door opened but nobody was shown coming out.

As the broadcast cut to the ring, “CEO” Mercedes Mone’s music hit and she came out to a huge pop. Mone said she was home. She added that her heart was beating out of her chest, before going on to thank the fans for having her back and they are the reason she was here. After talking about special place wrestling has in her life, Mone said she was here to lead a revolution. She added that she wants to tear up the locker room and has unfinished business with Willow Nightingale.

Samoa Joe was interview backstage and said it feels like money tonight, but Wardlow has debts that need to be paid.

Samoa Joe(c) defeated Wardlow in a singles match to retain AEW World Championship. Both big men continued to beat up each other but Wardlow missed a Swanton bomb in the final moments. Joe went to hit some punches in the corner but Wardlow hit a powerbomb. However, Joe then countered another powerbomb with Coquina Clutch to put Wardlow to sleep.

After the match, Swerve Strickland tried to come out to the ring and had to take down security to reach there. By that time, Samoa Joe walked away.

Alex Marvez went to interview The Elite backstage, but Kazuchika Okada made him sing Happy Birthday to Matthew Jackson.

Kazuchika Okada & The Young Bucks(Matthew Jackson & Nicolas Jackson) defeated Eddie Kingston, Penta El Zero Meido & PAC in a tag team match. Okada finished the match by hitting Kingston with The Rainmaker after Nicolas had hit a low blow with the referee distracted. Okada posed with Continental Crown title belt before leaving.

Will Ospreay came out to the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Ospreay talked about his match against Bryan Danielson at Dynasty PPV on April 21, and was glad that Danielson is his fan. Ospreay said this match is about restoring the feeling what AEW is. He added that Danielson says when the bell rings it’s your life or his, but he did not plan dieing at Dynasty.

Deonna Purrazzo cut a promo backstage to challenge Toni Storm and Mariah May for a tag team match next week.

Jay White defeated Darby Allin in a singles match. Darby hit White with Stinger Death Drop. White put his foot on the ropes to break the pin and went to the apron. Darby went for a Coffin Drop on the apron but White moved away and Darby bounced off it. Darby beat the 10 count but White then hit Bladerunner to get the pinfall.

After the match, White offered Darby a handshake, before White signalled for the Gunns to attack him. The Gunns joined in the attack and were setting up to smash his leg with steel chair. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn ran out to stop them. White and the Gunns hit them with chairs and baseball bat.

Hook & Chris Jericho defeated The Gates of Agony(Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun) in a tag team match. Both Hook and Jericho locked in their submissions, RedRum and Walls of Jericho, on their opponents to get tap outs.

Kyle O’Reilly was backstage where he talked about a difficult time during injury, but wanted to find out whether he could stand up against the competition. He would face Bryan Keith on Collision. Roderick Strong came in and told him that he would let him go alone if that’s what KOR wanted.

Chris Jericho and Hook were backstage. Jericho said he wanted to know more about Hook, and so, he challenged him to a match next week.

Willow Nightingale defeated Riho in a singles match after hitting Doctor Bomb.

After the match, TNT Champion Julia Hart appeared on the stage before Skye Blue attacked Willow from behind. Julia joined in the attack. Mercedes Mone ran out to make the save and hit Julia with her finisher.
