Welcome to ITNWWE’s live coverage or AEW Dynamite October 4, 2023 episode, which is the 4th-anniversary special of Dynamite and will be live from Stockton, CA.

The highlight of the show will be Adam Copeland/Edge making his Dynamite debut. He is set to address the fans while also take the storyline with Christian Cage forward. Other than that, AEW has announced two matches in advance for the show.

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega will look for revenge against Sammy Guevara and Konosuke Takeshita in a tag team match. Additionally, Rey Fenix will defend AEW International Championship against Nick Jackson who won a triple threat match to earn the title shot.

Apart from this, we might also see retaliation from Bullet Club Gold as Jay White was beaten up by some masked men last week. Also expect to hear from Saraya and Hikaru Shida as they clash next week. Keep tuned in for below for the results and live updates.


Renee Paquette is interviewing Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega and asks them about 4 years of Dynamite. Jericho says how they were on opposite ends when the promotion started, and he calls it a 4-year anniversary celebration that they are teaming up tonight. Adam Copeland comes in and says “hi” to Chris. Kenny shakes hands with him. Copeland tells them both to get Don Callis Family tonight as he still can’t stand him.

Rey Fenix(c) vs Nick Jackson – AEW International Championship

Quick counters to start the match. They hit overhead chops before trading rolls up for a two-count. Nick hits an armdrag and Fenix is clutching his back. Fenix hits an armdrag off the apron and Nick is favoring his back. Fenix whips him into the barricade. Nick hits a hurricanrana after jumping off the barricade. Nick hits a backstabber in the ring. Fenix rolls to the floor. Nick misses a penalty kick and smashes his foot into the ring post. Fenix trips him on the apron and we cut to a break.

The action picks up the pace again as we return from the break. They trade superkicks before a question mark kick drops Fenix. Both men are down for a while. Nick hits an enzuigiri. Fenix hits another superkick. Fenix avoids a kick with a slide to the floor. Nick hits a moonsault on the floor. Nick drives his head into the mat with a springboard move for a near fall. Nick hits a knee strike and a roundhouse kick. Fenix tries to block a move from the ropes but Nick hits an avalanche cutter for another near fall.

Nick hits a poisonrana and a Canadian Destroyer, only for Fenix to kick out again. Nick hits running knees before BTE Trigger, but Fenix kicks out again. Fenix hits a kick to the injured leg and hits a frog splash from the top to get a near fall. Nick gets another two-count with a sunset flip roll but Fenix counters it with a roll himself to get the pinfall.

Winner – Rey Fenix

Adam Cole is outside Roderick Strong’s house and is putting off his surgery for the visit. The Kingdom are also there at Strong’s house. Strong gives Adam a scooter and they have fun running around – Strong on wheel chair and Cole on scooter. Strong tells Cole that he wanted him to move around his furniture as the Kingdom guys have no idea about interior. Cole does all the work despite his injury. Cole asks to take leave but Strong needs his help for something else.

Wardlow vs Griff Garrison

Wardlow tackles Griff to the corner and stomps on him in vicious manner. Wardlow hits five powerbombs in quick succession. The referee has to stop the match. Wardlow leaves through the crowd.

Winner – Wardlow

Don Callis is being interviewed backstage and tells us that Sammy Guevara is deemed medically unfit for tonight. But, there is no shortage of talent in line to showcase themselves for The Family. Kyle Fletcher will replace Sammy.

The Acclaimed(Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) & Billy Gunn vs Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade

The challengers attack the champions when they are finishing their entrances. They spill to the floor and the champions throw them into the barricade. Back in the ring, The Butcher and the Blade take control. Sabian hits a moonsault on the floor to take us to a break.

Caster is trying to fight back Butcher. He tags in Bowens who dishes out shots at Sabian and Blade. He hits a fammeasser on Sabian but Butcher breaks the pin. Bowens hits a bodyslam on Blade before hitting Scissor Me Timbers. The Acclaimed hit a double team suplex to get the pinfall.

Winners – The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn

We see part 3 of The Portrait of A Star with Toni Storm. Toni snaps at RJ City over losing it all before RJ says Toni is not even old. Toni has a realization that she is timeless. She repeats it several times in a dramatic fashion to end the segment.


We see promos from Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. after their match at WrestleDream. Danielson is happy over fighting Sabre in Seattle, and says Sabre does not have the heart that he has.

Bullet Club Gold Without Jay White?

We get a recap of Jay White confronting MJF last week and how he was attacked. Bullet Club Gold, without Jay White, come out to the ring. They start to talk about MJF and says he jumped White because he is afraid of White. They call out MJF as he has some explaining to do. Juice Robinson taunts MJF that he will come out and face them like a man. AEW World Champion MJF’s music hits and he comes out to the stage. MJF talks about the accusations being made and gets an insulting dueling chant started.

MJF says he has done some horrible thing in the past 4 years and thought it would be a good idea to list them all here – throwing Chris Jericho off the cage, hitting Cody Rhodes 10 times with a belt, giving children dodgeball related injuries and calling names to Tony Khan. So, he will have no problem owning his acts. MJF says he did not attack White, but if they do not believe him why not they have a street fight. MJF charges down into the ring, but Bullet Club Gold leaves. Jay White appears behind him and hits him with Blade Runner. White picks up the world title and stands on top of MJF. White leaves with the title.

White takes the mic on the stage and says the title looks right with him. He claims to be cut above MJF and his tricks won’t work on him. White says he does not believe MJF saying that he did not attack him last week. He calls names to MJF, but if he wants to prove himself against White, MJF should face him at Full Gear. He is starting with an example and taking the title. MJF says if White wants the title match, he got it.


Renee Paquette is with Orange Cassidy and Hook backstage. They talk about how Cassidy should get a shot at AEW International title after being the champion for so long and he deserves it more than Jon Moxley. They were having Lays all along. Renee refuses to have them.

Chris Jericho & Kenny Omega vs Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher

Takeshita starts against Jericho with a shoulder tackle. Takeshita rakes his face before Jericho comes back with a tackle himself. Kenny hits punches and chops on Takeshita before Jericho gets back in. Takeshita blocks a suplex before Kenny comes in and hits a double suplex with Jericho. We cut to a break.

Jericho hits a lionsault on Fletcher as we return. Kenny gets a hot tag and hits Polish hammers on both opponents. Fletcher avoids a rolling senton before Takeshita attacks him from behind. Kenny hits a rolling senton on Takeshita before a backstabber on Fletcher. Takeshita blocks dragon suplex before hitting half and half suplex. Jericho comes in but is set up to the corner. They hit running boots and tackle in opposite corners. Takeshita hits Blue Thunderbomb on Jericho while Fletcher hits a Michinoku Driver on Kenny. Kenny comes back with a snap dragon suplex.

Jericho tags in to hit chops on Fletcher. He follows up with a corner clothesline before unloading with punches on the top and a hurricanrana from the top. Takeshita hits a clothesline on Jericho. Kenny hits knee strike on Takeshita and Fletcher drops Omega with a sheer drop brainbuster. Fletcher and Jericho trade chops while they are on their knees. They drop each other with a clothesline. We cut to another break.

Jericho hits an enzuigiri on Fletcher. Kenny gets a hot tag and trade shots with Fletcher. Omega hits a flush knee, a powerbomb and V-Trigger to get a near fall. Takeshita tries a German suplex on Kenny but Kenny hits a V-Trigger on his back before hitting a dragon suplex. Fletcher beats up Omega Jericho hits Fletcher with codebreaker before Kenny hits One Winged Angel to get the pinfall.

Winners – Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho

Powerhouse Hobbs attacks Jericho and Omega after the match. Don Callis is smiling. Hobbs throws Kenny over the chairs into the crowd. Takeshita is beating up Jericho at ringside. Hobbs brings Kenny back into the ring. They duct tape Kenny hands to the ropes and bring in a chair. Jericho puts his body in front of Kenny but Hobbs hits him with chair to drop him. Callis takes the chair from Hobbs and hits Kenny with it on his head.


Renee Paquette is backstage with MJF as he is getting a massage. MJF says it would be easier to deal with everything with Adam Cole. The Acclaimed were in the background. Max Caster tries to give massage to MJF and he freaks out, threatening to get a restraining order over the tweets and letters from him. MJF calls Adam Cole in frustration but it goes to voice mail.

Toni Storm vs Skye Blue

Toni makes her entrance as she is still in “Portrait of a Star” mode. Toni hits a short-arm lariat to get the bell rung. He throws Skye across the ring a couple of times by her hair. Skye hits back with the same move before hitting a dropkick. Toni brings her down from the top rope. She hits a hip attack to drop Skye off the apron. Toni tells us to go to picture in picture break as she goes to hit “titties slaps”.

Blue counters as we return and hits several punches. Blue hits a hurricanrana, a running knee, and an enzuigiri. Toni sends her to the apron but Skye hits an enzuigiri from the apron and another shot. Storm hits back with a sitout slam for a two-count. Skye hits a superkick to get a two-count. Toni hits a German suplex and gets ready for a pose. Toni hits a hip attack in the corner and Storm Zero to get the pinfall.

We hear from Adam Copeland

Tony Schiavone brings out Adam Copeland for his “AEW mission statement.” Copeland gives Schiavone props as he was was the soundtrack of his childhood, but wants the ring to himself now. He talks about the possibilities for having new set of matches in AEW like Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Miro, and so on. He also says the World Championship will look good around his waist, but that discussion is for another time.

Copeland then talks about discussing with his family about coming to AEW. He mentions that he talked to his daughters and they told him to go have fun with Uncle Jay(Christian Cage). He calls out Christian as he wants to tell him the real reason he is here. Christian Cage comes out to the ring. Copeland says they have been best friends for 40 years, but it was this business where they found out that they would be the best friends for life.

Copeland says he knows everything about Christian and he still loves you, but when he saw him standing over Sting. The same Sting whose poster Christian had in his room. He can’t look at Christian hitting the con-chair-to on the same Sting. That’s why he came out to stop him and hit Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus who will drop him like a fly once they get all the information from his brain.

Copeland says it’s time for them for the first time since 2011, and for the first time in 20 years to team up together so that they can have matches against the teams like FTR, The Young Bucks and others. Christian hugs Copeland, but then tells him to go f##k himself and leaves the ring. He gets to the stage and he wants to remind Copeland what he will be facing next Tuesday. Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne come out to the stage to stand with Christian on the stage. Copeland watches them all from the ring as the show goes off the air.
