AEW Battle of the Belts X Results, Live Updates, Winners

AEW Battle of the Belts X event returned on April 13, 2024, which featured three title matches as it had been the norm for the series since the inception.

Roderick Strong and Rocky Romero clashed in International title eliminator match. Hook faced Shane Taylor to defend FTW Championship. Athena defended ROH Women’s Championship against Red Velvet. Tune in below for the updates and results from AEW Battle of the Belts X event on April 13, 2024.

RESULTS

• Hook was backstage with Katsuyori Shibata who offered to have his back during the match. Hook said he wanted to do it on his own.
• Hook(c) defeated Shane Taylor via submission to retain FTW Championship. Taylor dominated the match with his size but Hook made a late rally and put on the RedRum to get the submission.
• Kyle O’Reilly came to Rocky Romero backstage to wish him luck for his match.
• Roderick Strong(c) defeated Rocky Romero in AEW International Championship Eliminator via pinfall.
• Kyle O’Reilly came out to congratulate Strong for his win before checking on Romero. Wardlow then ran over Romero with a clothesline. Strong hit KOR with a flying knee.
• Serena Deeb put the women’s division on notice in a backstage interview.
• Athena(c) defeated Red Velvet via pinfall to retain ROH Women’s Championship.
• Billie Starkz came out to celebrate with Athena who ordered her to attack Red Velvet. Velvet tried to fight them but 2-on-1 beatdown was too much for her. Queen Aminata ran out for the save and laid out Athena.
