UFC Announced Date, Location & Main Event of UFC 278
The date, location, venue, and main event of UFC 278 have been officially announced by the promotion.
At UFC 275, it has been officially announced that UFC 278 would take place at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City on August 20, 2022.
The event will be headlined by the UFC Welterweight Championship bout between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards.
Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards already squared off once back in 2015 when Usman managed to defeat Edwards via unanimous decision.
Now, in the main event of UFC 278, Leon Edwards will be looking forward to taking vengeance by not only defeating Kamaru Usman but by taking his Welterweight championship and ending his winning streak as well.
Now, it is likely that the promotion will officially add more bouts to the card of UFC 278 soon which will take place at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City.
