Claudio Puelles vs Fares Ziam Reported for UFC Mexico City
Claudio Puelles and Fares Ziam are scheduled to face each other at UFC Mexico Fight Night event.
According to the report from MMA Lationoamerica, Puelles and Ziam are set for a lightweight division clash which will take place at the UFC event set for February 24, 2024.

Claudio Puelles will be returning to the octagon after a gap of 14 months. His most recent fight was at UFC 281 event back in November 2022, where he defeated Dan Hooker by KO. This loss marked the end of Puelles’ five-fight winning streak. Before Hooker’s fight, Puelles defeated Clay Guida by KO which earned him Performance of the Night award.
Fares Ziam is currently on a two-fight winning streak. His recent fight was at UFC London event, where he defeated Jai Herbert via unanimous decision. Before the fight against Herbert, Ziam defeated Michal Figlak at UFC Paris 2022. Ziam’s UFC record stands at 4 wins and 2 losses.
UFC Mexico Fight Night is set to take place at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, Mexico. A bantamweight bout is also set for the event, where Cristian Quiñonez will face Raoni Barcelos.
