WWE RAW June 3: Preist vs Rey, New Day vs AOP, Sheamus vs Kaiser Set
WWE has announced 3 matches for RAW June 3, 2024 episode with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest in action.
This week, Rey Mysterio defeated Carlito in a singles match despite Judgment Day’s Finn Balor trying to interfere in the match to help Carlito. Post match, Damian Preist came out to save Balor from an attack from Rey and ended up hitting him with South of Heaven. Later, it was announced that Preist will face Rey in a singles match next week. This will be a non-title match.
New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston went to World Tag Team Champions Awesome Truth to ask for a shot at the titles. But, Karrion Kross ended up interrupting them once again as he continued to cause a rift between them. New Day responded with challeing Kross’ stablemates Authors of Pain for a tag team match.
This week on RAW, Sheamus addressed the attack from Ludwig Kaiser which kept him out of action for the last few weeks. Kaiser responded to Sheamus via appearing on the big screen which led to Sheamus going backstage to look for Kaiser. Kaiser blindsided Sheamus and the duo brawled briefly before they were seperated by the officials. A singles match was later revealed to take place between them next week.
Additionally, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre challenged #1 contender for Women’s Tag Team titles – Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark – for a tag team match next week. Baszler and Stark said before this that they would invite Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair to RAW next week to show them who they are. This match and segment were not confirmed by WWE.
