WWE Bad Blood 2024 Results Live – Punk vs McIntyre 3
Welcome to the live results blog for WWE Bad Blood 2024 event, which will take place in Atlanta, GA.
Five big matches are set for the show. The most important of them all is Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, which will also be their third singles match. The second important match is Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns teaming up to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.
Both Women’s World titles will be on the line. Rhea Ripley will try to regain Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan. Bayley will try to do the same with Nia Jax and WWE Women’s Championship. Former Judgment Day teammates, Finn Balor and Damian Priest will clash in a singles match.

RESULTS
- CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match via pinfall.
- Nia Jax(c) defeated Bayley in a singles match via pinfall to retain WWE Women’s Championship Match.
- Damian Priest defeated Finn Balor in a singles match via pinfall.
- Rhea Ripley defeated Liv Morgan(c) in a singles match via disqualification. Liv Morgan retains Women’s World Championship.
- Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns defeated Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu in a Tag Team Match via pinfall.
LIVE UPDATES
Samantha Irvin sings “God Bless America” before the start of the show. Michael Cole takes over the commentary duties before sending us to a video where Triple H hands Cody Rhodes an assignment of sorts to go undercover with Metro. This is followed by a typical opening video package. We cut back to Cody and Metro as Cody says, “It’s Time.” Triple H is walking backstage. Some pyro goes off. Cody and Metro arrive to the arena.
Naomi, the host of the evening, and WWE Women’s Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are in the ring. They take the mic and hype up to get the party started with “Hell in a Cell”. The Cage starts to come down.
Drew McIntyre vs CM Punk – Hell in a Cell Match
Drew McIntyre makes his entrance first. Goldberg is in the front row. CM Punk enters moments later. The duo stare down for a while before Drew starts with quick punches. Punk turns it around in the corner before Drew hits more shots. Drew catches Punk’s leg and throws him to the opposite corner. Drew hits a vicious chop before throwing him to the floor. Both men block getting their faces slammed to the cell. Punk then whips Drew into the wall before a couple of tackles to slam him into the wall more times.
Punk brings out a table. Drew hits him with a chair to his back and booting him into the steel steps. Drew brings out a toolbox and spreads its contents. Punk hits him into the midsection as Drew charges at him with a wrench. Back into the ring, Drew connects a boot to Punk’s face. He removes table’s leg. Punk uses a drop toe hold to send him into the table. He tries to drive Drew’s eye into the table but Drew blocks it and rolls to the floor. Drew holds onto the cage to avoid GTS. Drew then hits Punk with Claymore kick on the floor.
Drew then drives him head first into the cell a couple of times. Blood is pouring down Punk’s left eye. Drew picks up the steel step and hits Punk in the head with it. He stomps at Punk’s head on top of the steps next. Back to the ring, he uses a wrench on the open wound on Punk’s head. Drew pulls out another table and sets it up on the floor. Punks slips out of a running powerslam and hits his signature jumping knee and double ax handle.
Drew replies with a suplex. He signals for a Claymore kick but Punk rolls to the floor. Punk then hits him with a toolbox when Drew tries to pull him back into the ring. Drew is also split open on the head now. Punk starts to create momentum with several punches, jumping knees and a bulldog. He signals for GTS. Drew blocks it once but Punk hits GTS after a couple of counters. Drew rolls down to the floor. Punk brings him back to the ring. Drew catches him with a Claymore kick. Punk kicks out of the pin.
Drew goes for another Claymore but Punk sidesteps and quickly puts on the sharpshooter. Drew picks up the wrench and hits it on Punk’s back to break free. Both men get up at the same time, and start to trade punches. Futureshock DDT is blocked. GTS is blocked. Punk kicks Drew as both men drop back to the mat. Punk hits him with jumping knee on the apron. He goes for a suplex there but Drew counters to send Punk through a table set up on the floor.
Punk is motionless as Drew tries to bring steel steps into the ring. Drew brings him into the ring. Punk hits another GTS but Drew kicks out of the pin. Drew then hits White Noise on the steel steps. Punk also kicks out once again. Drew tries to pick him up but Punk puts him into Anaconda Vice. Drew picks a wrench but Punk takes it from him and slams it on his head. Punk waits for Drew to get back up. Drew distracts him with some begging not to use the wrench, but hits a low blow.
Drew brings in a bag full of plastic beads to throw them on Punk. Punk avoids a Claymore kick and Drew drops on the steel steps. Punk wraps up steel chain on his knee. He pours some beads into Drew’s mouth before hitting GTS with the loaded knee to get the pin and the win.
Winner – CM Punk
Punk is administered with oxygen as medical team checks on him on the ramp. He is barely able to stand still as he poses on the stage. Drew also recovers as the cage gets up.
Nia Jax(c) vs Bayley – WWE Women’s Championship Match
Nia corners Bayley quickly after blocking punches. She unloads in the corner before hitting a corner splash. She hits a back body drop before running her over with a clothesline next. Nia hits a Thesz Press next. She puts on a bear hug. Bayley uses a sunset flip to get a one-count. Nia uses a submission but Bayley gets her arm to the ropes. Nia goes a single leg crab but Bayley gets to the ropes once again. Nia puts on a Camel Clutch breifly. Bayley uses Nia’s momentum to send her to the floor. She hits Nia with a stomp on the ropes when Nia tries to get back.
Bayley hits a baseball slide dropkick on the floor. She hits a cutter on the ropes to drop Nia to the floor once again before hitting a suicide dive. Nia catches her with a headbutt as they return to the ring. Nia sets Bayley up in the corner before hitting another splash. Nia gets to the middle ropes and unloads in the corner. Bayley tries to get her up for a powerbomb but Nia counters with a hurricanrana like manuever. Bayley uses her momentum in the corner. She hits a running knee before a sunset flip to send Nia into the corner. Bayley is selling a knee injury after this move. Bayley hits an elbow drop from the top rope. Nia kicks out of the pin, also sending Bayley out to the floor in the process.
Bayley sends Nia into the steel steps. The referee starts a countdown. Bayley breaks the count but Nia catches her with a shot to midsection when she jumps off the steel steps. Nia hits a powerbomb on the steel steps and then on the barricade. Back to the ring, Nia gets frustrated with the crowd booing her. Nia hits a Samoan Drop to get a two-count. Nia goes for a move but Bayley counters with Samoan Drop. Nia ends up hitting the referee with a splash. Bayley hits Nia with Roseplant but the referee is down.
Tiffany Stratton runs out with her MITB briefcase and hits Bayley with it. She tries to wake up the referee who holds the briefcase just as Nia wakes up. Nia starts to argue with Tiffany thinking Tiffany is trying to cash in MITB briefcase. Bayley sends Nia into Tiffany. She goes to the top rope when Tiffany throws the briefcase at Bayley’s face. Nia takes advantage by bringing Bayley down from the top. Nia then hits Annihialator to get the pinfall.
Winner – Nia Jax
Finn Balor vs Damian Priest
A back and forth start before Balor starts to work on Priest’s ribs. He puts on an abdominal stretch and takes some more shots at the ribs. Priest breaks free and unloads with big punches while Balor tries to use the ropes. Priest hits a corner splash. Balor tries to go for an inverted DDT but Priest hits a Broken Arrow to get a two-count.
Balor comes back with a slingblade. Priest hits back with a question mark kick and a lariat to get a two-count. More punches from Priest before Balor ducks a kick and hits a Pele kick himself. Balor hits a couple of double leg stomps. Priest hits a Razor’s Edge. Balor rolls to the floor. Priest tackles him over the announce table. He hits another Razor’s Edge – this time on the ring apron.
Priest signals for the chokeslam but Carlito runs out. The referee deals with Carlito while JD McDonagh drops Priest’s face on the ropes. Balor quickly hits a Coupe De Grace, but Priest kicks out. Balor asks for a chair while Carlito distracts the referee once again. Priest ducks the chair shot and kicks Carlito off the apron before throwing McDonagh onto him. Balor rolls him up and hits another double stomp. Priest catches Balor’s Coupe De Grace and hits a chokeslam to get the pinfall.
Winner – Damian Priest
Triple H comes out to the ring for a special announcement. He announces tonight’s event as the highest grossing WWE Arena event. He then announces that beginning in 2024, an annual event will take place at Crown Jewel. Ever year, World Heavyweight Champion will face WWE Champion and the winner will be crowned that year’s Crown Jewel Champion. The same thing will also happen for the women’s champions also.
World Heavyweight Champion Gunther comes out. He chit-chats for a while before addressing Goldberg. He clarifies to Goldberg that he is not his favourite, as he claimed to Bret Hart a few weeks ago. He tells Goldberg’s son that he hopes that Goldberg is a better father than he is a wrestler. Goldberg jumps the barricade but the security surrounds him quickly. Sami Zayn attacks Gunther after this. They roll to the floor where Gunther gets a cheap shot as the security tries to take Sami under control. After Gunther and Sami are taken backstage, Triple H raises Goldberg’s hand. Goldberg also poses in the corner to close the segment.
Liv Morgan(c) vs Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship
Dominik Mysterio is locked up in the cage and raised high in the air before the match begins. And Dominik is afraid of heights. He is squirming in the cage. Rhea starts with a dropkick. She batters Liv with punches, a knee to the face and a clothesline before hitting a fallaway slam to send Liv to the floor. Liv tackles Rhea into the steel steps but Rhea quickly recovers to drop Liv’s face on the apron. Rhea hits a dropkick through the ropes before dumping Liv on the apron once again. Liv catches Rhea on her way back to the ring and drops her face on the ropes. Liv starts to work on Rhea’s leg.
Rhea hits a back elbow but Liv quickly hits back. She puts on a submission Rhea’s leg. Rhea struggles for a while before slamming Liv’s face to the mat to break free. Rhea hits a few clotheslines before hitting a bridging suplex to get a two-count. Liv starts to target the leg again as she slams it on the apron and into the ring post. Liv throws Rhea into the barricade a few times. Rhea tries to throw her into the ring but Liv hits a roundhouse kick. Liv hits a sunset flip to send Rhea into the barricade. Back into the ring, Liv hits a Codebreaker to get a near fall.
Rhea blocks the Oblivion. Liv blocks the Riptide before hitting her Octopus stretch sunset flip which she calls the Homewrecker now. Liv starts to talk trash and slap Rhea. This enrages Rhea, but Liv goes for the Three Amigos. Rhea blocks the third suplex there and powers up to hit Razor’s Edge. Dominik has opened up his cage up in the air. Rhea hits a frog splash to get a two-count. Rhea puts on the Prism Lock on Liv. Liv gets to the ropes to break the submission.
Liv and Rhea are under Dominik’s cage now. Rhea continues to beat up Liv. She hits a Riptide on the floor. Rhea takes Liv back to the ring. Dominik tries to jump out of the cage but he is now hanging upside down with his leg wrapped in a chain. Rhea tells the referee that she will come back in the ring after dealing with some matter. Rhea brings out a kendo stick and beats up Dominik with it. Raquel Rodriguez attacks Rhea which leads to a DQ.
Winner – Rhea Ripley(via DQ, title unchanged)
Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu – Tag Team Match
Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu march out first. University of Arkansas Pine Bank Marching Band plays Cody Rhodes’ theme before he comes out. Roman Reigns is the last to come out.
Solo shows off the Ula-Fala before Jacob handed it to an official at the ringside. Jacob and Cody start the match. Cody drops down to hit a punch. Cody quickly hits the disaster kick but Jacob shows no effect and goes for a superkick immediately which Cody avoids. Solo gets into the ring without the tag. Roman also comes into the ring as the two teams have a brief stareoff.
Solo tags in. Roman also asks for the tag and comes into the ring. Roman blocks a punch and hits a couple of his owns. Solo hits back with a kick off the ropes before hitting a headbutt. Roman hits big punches to midsection. He unloads on Solo from the second rope. Solo counters a whip with a big shot and another headbutt. Roman hits a back elbow before clotheslining him to the floor. Jacob comes into the ring which distracts Roman. Solo then attacks Roman from behind to take control. Solo rakes Roman’s face on the ropes. Jacob takes a cheap shot at Roman from outside.
Solo hits a hip attack on Roman against the turnbuckle. Jacob does the same after tagging in. He unloads in the corner for a while. Roman avoids a corner splash and throws Jacob to the floor. Cody gets a hot tag just as Jacob returns to the ring. Cody hits quick punches and powerslam. He hits Dusty’s signature jabs and bionic elbow. Cody hits a Cody Cutter. He looks for Crossrhodes but Solo provides a distraction for Jacob to hit a Samoan Drop.
Solo tags in after Jacob throws Cody to the floor. Solo hits an Urinage on the apron. Roman returns in the corner just as Solo takes Cody back into the ring. The Bloodline keep Cody isolated from Roman for a while though. Cody tries to punch his way out, but Jacob runs him over. Cody hits a back elbow but Solo tags in and gets into the ring to take Cody under control once again. Cody finally fights them off but Jacob pulls Roman off the apron.
Solo slams Cody to the mat. Jacob tags in and Cody tries to rally once again. Roman also recovers and Cody tags out finally. Solo comes from the other side. Roman hits flying clotheslines before unloading with some punches. Solo hits back but Roman ducks the Samoan Spike and puts on a crucifix pin to get a two-count. Roman hits a Superman Punch immediately after this. Solo kicks out.
Jacob runs a distraction which allows The Bloodline to hit back at Roman. They hit a double superkick on Roman before hitting him with the Frog Splashes. Cody breaks the pin. He takes Jacob to the floor and throws him through the barricade. Jacob wakes up quickly which forces Cody to hit him with the Crossrhodes. Cody still has to follow up with several superkicks which sets Jacob up on the apron. Cody then hits a splash to put Jacob through the announce table.
Solo and Roman get to it in the ring. They trade punches. Roman hits an uppercut. Solo hits a superkick. Roman hits a Superman Punch. He gets ready for a spear, but The Tongans come out to distract him. Solo then hits Roman with a spear but Roman kicks out. Solo gets ready for The Samoan Spike when he sees a hooded man behind the Tongans. This man turned out to be Jimmy Uso who hit superkicks on The Tongans. Solo gets livid but Roman hits him with a spear to get the pinfall.
Winner – Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes
After the match, Roman and Jimmy hug in the ring. Jimmy holds up Roman’s hand. Cody is also in the ring now. Roman and Jimmy start to return when The Bloodline attacks Cody in the ring. Roman and Jimmy deliberate before they help out Cody and take down The Bloodline. Roman then picks up the Undisputed WWE Championship and hands it back to Cody. The Rock’s music hits and he comes out to the stage while The Bloodline retreats through the crowd. The Rock stares down Cody, Roman and Jimmy in the ring. He holds up the numbers one, two, and three before going back.
