NJPW Reveals Card for Both Nights of Strong Independence Day 2023
NJPW Strong has revealed the complete match card for both nights of Independence Day 2023 event.
NJPW Strong, the American-based brand of New Japan Pro-Wrestling, is holding its first event in Japan on July 4 & 5 in Independence Day 2023 at Korukeun Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
The headliner for night one will see Catch 2/2(Francesco Akira & TJP) defending their IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles against Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney. Plus, Jon Moxley and Homicide were already announced to face El Desperado and Jun Kasai in a Doomsday No Disqualification match.

Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi will also defend their NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team titles against Alex Coughlin and Gabriel Kidd on day one of the event.
The night two main event will be between Eddie Kingston and Kenta for Kenta’s NJPW STRONG Openweight Title. Jon Moxley vs El Desperado’s “Final Death” match is booked for night 2 of the event.
