Greg Hamilton Stated His WWE Release was “A Mutual Respect Departure”
Yesterday it has been revealed that WWE has released the SmackDown in-ring announcer Greg Hamilton. Today Hamilton finally gave a statement on his release to clear out all the misunderstandings of the fans.
Greg Hamilton took to his Instagram handle to share a picture and posted a long note in the caption. The caption is quite heartwarming and it revealed his WWE release his decision was a mutual respect departure with a great company.
He started off by saying that he is finally saying goodbye to WWE after 6 years and 52 weeks. He joined NXT back in 2015 and made a move to the main roster in 2016.
Hamilton also appreciated all the wrestlers in WWE and stated they’re incredible human beings. He revealed that he decided to part ways with WWE because of his family. His mother is 70 and his sister has cerebral palsy and at present, they’re his top priority.
Greg Hamilton also added that there are no fans like WWE Universe and he will forever be grateful for his time in WWE.
As of now, it hasn’t been revealed who would replace Greg Hamilton as the in-ring announcer of WWE SmackDown.
