AEW Dynamite Line-up October 12, 2022, for Canada Debut Show
AEW Dynamite will make its Canada debut on October 12, 2022 at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario.
The match card and lineup for the show are revealed with Chris Jericho once again the focus of the show. Jericho will defend his ROH World Championship in his third showdown with Bryan Danielson. They clashed twice earlier this year with both men winning one bout each.
Jericho was able to defeat The American Dragon at All Out PPV with some distraction from Sammy Guevara. Danielson defeated ROH World Champion in the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions just 10 days later. This week on Dynamite, Jericho and Sammy Guevara were able to beat Danielson and Daniel Garcia after Jericho put Danielson through the table. Who will win the trilogy bout? Will Jericho lose the ROH title in the first defense and Danielson will become ROH World Champion once again?
In other matches, Shane “Swerve” Strickland has challenged “Daddy A–” Billy Gunn for a singles match. Gunn was AEW Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed in National Scissoring Day celebration this week when Swerve interrupted to challenge them and accuse Gunn for helping The Acclaimed win the title. Gunn accepted the challenge to face Swerve.
Another rivalry will be settled next week as Jungle Boy faces his former tag team partner and friend, Luchasaurus. Luchasaurus turned on Jungle Boy at All Out when he attacked Jungle Boy before his match against Christian Cage. JB saved Fuego Del Sol from Luchasaurus this week and challenged him for a match. Christian accepted the challenge on Luchasaurus’ behalf and revealed that the match will take place on AEW’s first show in Canada.
