AEW Dynamite episode of January 25, 2023, is set to feature the AEW TNT title match between Darby Allin & Buddy Mathews, a Jay Briscoe Memorial match.

Bryan Danielson will face Brian Cage in order to become the #1 contender for the AEW World Championship. Toni Storm and Ruby Soho will collide. Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara will face the team of Action Andretti & Ricky Starks. Moreover, The Firm’s Matt Hardy & Ethan Page will face JungleHook in a tag-team match. Jay Briscoe Memorial Match

Tony Khan has revealed that Mark Briscoe and Jay Lethal will clash in a match to celebrate the life and legacy of Joe Briscoe on a date which is also Jay Briscoe’s birthday. The younger of the Briscoes Brothers died in a car accident last week. A ROH memorial show was earlier taped in his honor, but Jay Briscoe will get a memorial match on AEW. This will also be Mark Briscoe’s first AEW appearance.

Bryan Danielson vs Brian Cage

Bryan Danielson is on a mission to become the #1 contender for the AEW World title. In order to challenge MJF at Revolution, he needs to compete and win on every single Dynamite before the PPV. His next match is against Brian Cage, who received an envelope of cash from MJF to break Danielson’s arm whether he wins or loses the match. Will Cage accomplish his mission?

Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs Action Andretti & Ricky Starks

Chris Jericho announced that he would face Action Andretti & Ricky Starks in a tag team match. Initially, Daniel Garcia wanted to partner with Chris Jericho. However, Sammy told him that if he won his match against Action Andretti at Rampage, then he could partner with Jericho. However, Garcia lost that match, and now Sammy will partner with Jericho to face Andretti & Starks. Will Starks and Andretti get another big win here? Or will Jericho pull one back here?

Darby Allin vs Buddy Matthews

Darby Allin himself called out Buddy Matthews to face in a singles match this week. He stated how Sting & Alling defeated the House of Black before he went away. Now, he wants to finish the job by defeating Buddy Matthews once again. Will Darby get a win for the fourth win in a row? Or will Buddy Matthews be able to become the new champion? 

Ruby Soho vs Toni Storm

Toni Storm, along with Saraya, turned heel last week by attacking Willow Nightingale, the partner Willow Nightingale. Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter were already feuding with Storm and Saraya. As a result, AEW announced a triple-threat match featuring Britt Baker, Toni Storm, and Ruby Soho. However, Britt Baker is injured however, and the match is now turned into a singles match between Toni Storm and Ruby Soho.

JungleHook vs Ethan Page & Matt Hardy

Last week on Rampage, Jungle Boy Jack Perry defeated Ethan Page in a singles match. However, during the match, he also had some altercations with Matt Hardy. Now, it is announced that Jack Perry, along with his partner Hook, will face Matt Hardy & Ethan Page in a tag team match.

Billy Gunn’s Family Therapy

The Acclaimed and The Gunn Club have been at odds for a long time now. Once, these two teams were a group led by Billy Gunn before The Gunn Club split. They have now claimed that The Acclaimed have become famous only due to their father. Billy Gunn has now decided to hold a Family Therary session to get these two sides on the same page. Will he be successfull?
