UFC 312: 3 Fights Officially Set, Anshul Jubli Returns
UFC has announced 3 bouts for UFC 312 PPV event, including the return of Indian Lightweight fighter Anshul Jubli.
Jubli will face Australian fighter Quillan Salkild in a bout which will like be on the prelims card. Salkild earned the UFC contract through 2024 Dana White Contender Series and will be making his promotional debut in this fight.
Jubli will be returning to the octagon for the first time since UFC 294 in October 2023 where he suffered a knockout loss to Mike Breeden. He recently revealed how he suffered multiple injuries during this time – ACL injury in early 2024 and then a broken nose in later half of the year.
UFC also announced two more Australian fighters on UFC 312 card. Brisbane’s Stewart Nicole will fight unbeaten flyweight fighter Rei Tsuruya.
Melbourne’s light heavyweight fighter Jimmy Crute also makes his return after UFC 290 in July 2022, as he faces Marcin Prachnio. Crute is winless in his last 4 bouts with 3 losses and 1 draw.
UFC 312 takes place at Qudos Arena in Sydney, Australia, on February 8, 2024(February 9 in Sydney).
