NOTES
UFC 311 is the first UFC PPV event of the year 2025. It will be UFC’s third event in Inglewood, CA, but will be the first event at the newly built Intuit Dome.
Islam Makhachev and Arman Tsarukyan clashed in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 149 on April 20, 2019. Makhachev defeated Tsarukyan in that bout via unanimous decision. UFC President Dana White announced on December 4, 2024, that Makhachev and Tsarukyan would headline this event in rematch over UFC Lightweight Championship.
White also announced that the co-main event bout would be UFC Bantamweight Championship bout between Merab Dvalishvilli and Umar Nurmagomedov.
Bantamweights Ricky Turcios and Bernardo Sopaj were scheduled to clash at UFC Vegas 100. The bout had to be cancelled after the weigh-ins as Turcois suffered some medical issues. The bout was then rebooked for this event.
Lightweights Grant Dawson and Carlos Diego Ferreira were booked to clash on this card. They were previously booked to fight at a Fight Night event in October 2021, but the bout was scrapped due to an injury to Ferreira.
Johnny Walker and Bogdan Guskov were set for a light heavyweight bout on the card. The bout was canceled after Walker suffered an injury one week before the event.
