AEW Dynamite August 16: Omega Interview, MJF & Cole Segment, More Set
AEW has announced two segments and two matches for August 16, 2023, episode of AEW Dynamite, including Kenny Omega’s interview with Jim Ross.
During the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega was interviewed backstage and questioned about his intentions for Wembley. Omega responds by mentioning that he will have an interview with Jim Ross on the August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he will reveal his plans and talk about the match at AEW All In.
MJF and Adam Cole’s segment is also set for August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite. Both Cole and MJF will talk about their match, which is scheduled for the main event at AEW All In 2023 PPV event.

During the August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF and Adam Cole were also seen challenging Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) for ROH Tag Team Championship during the Zero Hour show at the AEW All In PPV event. As of now, no official announcement has been made by AEW.
Darby Allin and Nick Wayne are also scheduled for a tag team match on the August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite, where they will face Gates Of Agony(Toa Liona & Kaun). The match became official due to a confrontation involving Darby Allin and the Mogul Embassy.
Darby Allina and Sting are also set to face AR Fox and Swerve Strickland in a Tag Team Coffin match at AEW All In 2023 PPV event.
Additionally, Britt Baker will face The Bunny at August 16 episode of AEW Dynamite. The winner will enter in the Fatal 4-way match for the AEW Women’s Championship at AEW All In PPV event.
August 16, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite will be live from Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, TN, US. Below is the announced line-up for the show:
- Britt Baker vs The Bunny – Qualifier for AEW Women’s Championship match for All In
- Kenny Omega sits down with Jim Ross
- Darby Allin and Nick Wayne vs Gates Of Agony (Toa Liona and Kaun)
- MJF and Adam Cole talk about the main event of AEW All-In
