WWE has revealed that Elimination Chamber 2024 will take place in Perth, Australia.

There were a few rumors that WWE has planning an event in late February or early March in Australia. In the early hours of Thursday, WWE announced that Elimination Chamber 2024 will take place at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia, on February 24, 2024.

The press release from WWE features comments from Women’s World Champion and Australian native Rhea Ripley. New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were in Australia to make the announcement.

This will be the second year in a row that Elimination Chamber will take place outside United States. The 2023 edition of the series took place in Quebec, Canada, where Sami Zayn headlined the show against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The event features one or two Elimination Chamber cage matches featuring 6 wrestlers or team. The same trend is expected to continue with Elimination Chamber 2024 also.

The 2023 event made several records in the series including highest gross, merchandise sales, largest gate and sponsorship revenue, along with becoming the most viewed Elimination Chamber event.

The 2024 edition will take place in the 70,000-seater Optus Stadium. So, it can be expected that some of these records might be broken once again.

WWE returns to Australia for the first time since 2018 when the promotion held Super Showdown 2018 event. That event was headlined by The Undertaker vs Triple H match. That was the first PPV or PLE event that WWE held in Australia ever.

WWE calls home to several Austrlian names like Indi Hartwell, Bronson Reed, Emma, and Grayson Waller along with Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.
