Women’s Tag Title Rematch Announced For Fastlane 2021

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will be on the line at Fastlane 2021 PPV.

WWE has announced that Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax will defend their Women’s Tag Team title against WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. Sasha and Bianca will face for SmackDown Women’s title at WrestleMania 37.

This will be the rematch from WWE Elimination Chamber PPV from last month. Jax and Baszler were able to retain the titles on that night after some interruptions from Reginald(Carmella’s Sommelier) distracted Sasha Banks.

Jax and Baszler recently defended the Women’s Tag Title against Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez at NXT this week. The match ended in a bit of controversy after Adam Pearce brought a referee from RAW near the end of the match to help Jax and Baszler.

Also, Lana & Naomi recently won the #1 contenders match for the tag titles on RAW. It will interesting to see if they end up getting added to the match.

This is the first match to be announced for Fastlane 2021 which takes on 21 March from WWE Thunderdome at Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL. Daniel Bryan vs WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is also expected to take place on the show.
