Cesaro Teases Seth Rollins Match At WrestleMania 37

Cesaro has recently started feuding with Seth Rollins since his return to SmackDown a couple of weeks back. This week’s, we saw Cesaro getting Rollins in his signature swing amid the beatdown on him.

All of this believed to be leading towards a WrestleMania encounter between the two of them. Cesaro also said that he would want to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania this year when he talked to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated.

“I want a singles match this ’Mania, and I would love for it to be against Seth Rollins.” He added, “Seth is a tremendous talent, and he is so extremely versatile. Good guy, bad guy, he always finds a way to evolve, and he’s super smooth in the ring. He’s always pushing us to get better, and I think he incredible at what he does.”

Cesaro was once talked about facing Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Fastlane 2021. But Daniel Bryan seemed to have taken that spot for him. Cesaro also said that the match against Rollins could be the start of the next WrestleMania’s preparation and the ascend towards the Universal Championship for him.

“The universal title match is currently spoken for, but this will start the road to next year’s WrestleMania for me.”

Cesaro was also asked about whether he has renewed his contract with WWE as it was recently reported. But Cesaro denied commenting on it.

“I’m not going to confirm or deny anything,” The Swiss Cyborg said. “To me, there needs to be a certain amount of mystery in wrestling. A lot of that magic gets lost, so I’ll let people talk. What is important to me is my work in the ring.”
