AEW Dynamite April 24: Omega-Takeshita Tag, International Title Match Added
Several more segments and matches are now added to AEW Dynamite April 26, 2023 episode including International Championship match.
Orange Cassidy will defend AEW International Championship against Bandido on the show. This will be Cassidy’s 20th defense on the International title. He recently defended it at NJPW Collision in Philadelphia 2023 event against Gabriel Kidd.
Two of Don Callis’ clients Kenny Omega and Konosuke Takeshita will team up for the first time in AEW. Callis brought out Takeshita to help out The Elite when they were outnumbered by Blackpool Combat Club. Takeshita and Omega will now face The Butcher and The Blade to build up their chemistry.
Dax Harwood, one half of AEW Tag Team Champions, will face Jeff Jarrett in a singles match. They were part of a tag team match accompanied by Jay Lethal and Cash Wheeler on Rampage to avenge an attack on Mark Briscoe by The Varsity Athletes. Jarrett ended up hitting Dax with a punch inadvertently when he went after Tony Nese, leading to an argument between them.
We will hear from Adam Cole after he and Britt Baker were attacked by Jericho Appreciation Society and The Outcasts. Also, Tony Khan will make an announcement during the show. Additonally, newly crowned TNT Champion Wardlow and his new manager Arn Anderson will also speak.
Two matches were already made official earlier for AEW Dynamite April 26 episode. Jade Cargill defends TBS Women’s Championship against Taya Valkyrie where Taya is not allowed to use Road to Valhalla/The Jaded. 4 Pillars tournament final is set between Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara. The episode will air from Sunrise, FL. The line-up is as below:
