UFC 293 Broadcast Plans: Laura Sanko Set For PPV Commentary Debut
Laura Sanko is set to make her commentary debut a PPV event with UFC 293 PPV event, and on the analyst desk will be UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans.
MMA Junkie revealed the line-up of commentators and other members of the broadcast team for the UFC 293 PPV event.

Megan Olivi will be responsible for conducting pre-fight and post-fight interviews backstage. Bruce Buffer will have the role of introducing the fighters before their battles. Buffer was also part of the UFC Paris event.
The pre-and post-fight shows for UFC 293 will be hosted by Phil Murphy, with UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans and renowned MMA coach Din Thomas joining him as analysts. Jon Anik is set to take on his role as the lead commentator alongside Daniel Cormier, and Laura Sanko.
Sanko has previously joined the commentary at Fight Night events this year. However, this will be the first time that she will be on commentary on a PPV card. Sanko has been a regular presence at UFC weigh-in shows for PPV events.
UFC 293 event is scheduled for September 9 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, featuring a World middleweight title bout between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland. The complete broadcast team for the show is as follows:
- Octagon Announcer – Bruce Buffer
- Roving Reporter – Megan Olivi
- Desk Analyst – Phil Murphy, Rashad Evans, and Din Thomas
- Commentators – Jon Anik (Lead), Daniel Cormier, Laura Sanko
