JJ Aldrich has come in to replace Stephanie Egger to face Montana De La Rosa at UFC Vegas 80 event.
Stephanie Egger will not be competing in her scheduled bout against Montana De La Rosa, which was planned for October 7 for UFC Vegas 80 event. Nolan Kings reported the development that JJ Aldrich will replace Egger but the specific reason for her withdrawal was not disclosed.

JJ Aldrich has won three fights and lost two in his five recent bouts. Her most recent fight took place at UFC Fight Night 225, where she faced Na Liang and secured a victory by KO. This win ended a two-fight losing streak for her.
Montana De La Rosa is currently experiencing a two-fight losing streak. In her most recent bout at UFC Fight Night 220, she faced Tatiana Suarez and suffered a submission defeat. Prior to the Suarez fight, De La Rosa also faced a loss to Maycee Barber in her only match in 2022. Her last victory was against Ariane Lipski in June 2021.
