Chad Gable’s WWE Contract Expiring Soon?

Chad Gable Defeat Baron Corbin at Hell In A Cell 2019

Dax Harwood of FTR has hinted that Chad Gable’s WWE contract is expiring in the next two months.

Formerly known as Scott Dawson in WWE, Harwood reacted to Gable’s tweet where he called Otis his #1 guy. Otis has wished Gable on his birthday. Gable reacted by tweeting, “You… are my #1… guy! #AlphaAcademy.”

Harwood took offense on this asking whether Otis is really his #1 guy. Harwood also said that Gable is not allowed to respond to him publicly for the next two months, hinting towards the Gable’s contract situation. Harwood’s complete tweet was,

“Wait, what’s all this #1 talk?! I know you’re not allowed to respond to me publicly for about 2 more months, but c’mon man! HE’S your #1?!”

Gable is yet to react to Harwood’s tweet. But the tweet is certainly going to kick off discussions around Gable’s contract status and whether he is going to jump to AEW soon. However, Harwood just trolling fans with this tweet could also be a possibility.

Chad Gable’s run in WWE has been dull ever since his tag team with Robert Roode was broken and he was moved to SmackDown in April 2019. In between, Gable took up the character of Shorty G and had a good run for a couple of months around King of the Ring 2019.

Recently, Gable turned heel after reverting to his old ring name. He also formed the storyline training academy – “The Alpha Academy” – where he is training the stars like Otis and even Daniel Bryan for a short while. Otis also turned heel recently by attacking Rey Mysterio.
