Updates on Charlotte Flair’s Status for WWE Crown Jewel 2021
Some updates have emerged to clarify Charlotte Flair’s status for WWE Crown Jewel 2021 PPV.
Earlier, fans were speculating that WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair might be added to the SmackDown Women’s Title Triple Threat match at Crown Jewel. This came out after Flair was drafted to SmackDown in the latest WWE Draft and was seen getting involved in the storyline for the title match.
Flair also lost the RAW Women’s title match to Bianca Belair via disqualification(she held onto the title due to the match ending in a DQ) earlier this week on RAW. However, her chances of getting added to Crown Jewel seem slim after the latest report.
Fightful Select is reporting that Flair is not listed internally for Crown Jewel today. They also noted that the talents who traveled to Saudi Arabia haven’t seen Charlotte Flair there.
It is also to be noted that the Queen is scheduled for a signing in Wichita on Friday morning. If Flair has traveled to the Kingdom, it would be impossible for her to attend the signing event. Fightful select has noted that WWE is not likely to bring in full roster to Saudi Arabia to make sure they are not left shorthanded for SmackDown the next day.
In 2019, the flight carrying the WWE roster back to the United States got delayed due to various reasons. WWE had to resort to using NXT talent on SmackDown that day as only Daniel Bryan and some women wrestlers were available.
