CM Punk Faces Satoshi Kojima at Forbidden Door in Owen Hart Cup 2023
CM Punk is set to face Satoshi Kojima at AEW NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 event in the first-round match of the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament 2023.
AEW has revealed the bracket for Owen Hart Foundation Tournament matches, and it is set to start on June 23 Rampage episode before continuing on Collision the next day and then two matches taking place at the Forbidden Door event on June 25, 2023.
CM Punk’s involvement in the tournament was confirmed once the bracket was revealed on Dynamite June 21 episode. He is now set to take on legendary wrestler NJPW’s Satoshi Kojima.

In another match from women’s Owen Hart Cup, Billie Starkz will face ROH Women’s Champion Athena in the first round match at Forbidden Door. That match is expected to be part of the pre-show.
The rest of the first-round matches for Owen Hart Cup, for both men and women tournament, will take place on Dynamite and Collision episodes next week.
This will be CM Punk’s first singles match since his return to AEW last week. He was part of a tag team match on Collision last week, and will be once again in action in another tag team match.
