Zak Cummings to Face Ed Herman at Apr 15 UFC Event
According to the latest reports, Zak Cummings is all set to return inside the octagon against Ed Herman at UFC Kansas City on April 15, 2023.
Iridium Sports Agency which manages Zak Cumming revealed this matchup which was confirmed by several other sources as well.
Zak had his last bout in August 2020 against Alessio Di Chirico which he won via unanimous decision. Then he suffered a serious back injury, and then he underwent back surgery for the herniated disc which put him out of action for several months.
On the other hand, Ed Herman will also step inside the octagon after almost two years. His three-fight winning streak was snapped by Alonzo Menifield at UFC 265. Before that Herman defeated Mike Rodriguez, Khadis Ibragimov, and Pattrick Cummins.
Now, both these fighters will return after a long hiatus, and hence no one will be at a disadvantage due to ring rust. Now, it will be interesting to see which one of them will make a winning comeback in Kansas City at the UFC Fight Night event on April 15.
