Despite multiple changes of opponent, Sean Woodson will stay on UFC Nashville card and face Dennis Buzukja, who will become his fourth different opponent on the card.

Marcel Doff reported that Dennis Buzukja will debut against Sean Woodson at UFC Nashville this Saturday in a featherweight bout.

Sean Woodson was first set to face Steve Garcia at the UFC Nashville event, but Garcia withdrew from the fight. Jesse Buttler was scheduled to be Garcia’s replacement, but he also withdrew from the fight because of a protocol issue related to the knockout he experienced against Jim Miller at UFC Vegas 74.

Marion Santos was then set to replace Jesse Buttler, but he also withdrew from the fight because of visa and travel issues. Consequently, Dennis Buzukja has been announced as the new replacement.

Dennis Buzukja is currently on a seven-fight winning streak. This upcoming bout against Woodsin will mark his UFC debut. Buzukja’s recent bout was against Soslan Abanokov at CFFC 120 event, where he won by submission.

Duzukja had featured twice in Dana White Contender Series in 2020 and 2022. He lost to Melsik Baghdasaryan in 2020 but came on the winning side against Kaleio Romero in 2022.

Sean Woodson is on a two-fight winning streak. Woodsin’s last bout was against Luis Saldaña at UFC 278 which ended in a split draw.

UFC Nashville is scheduled to take place on August 5, 2023, at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. A catchweight bout is set for the main event between Cory Sandhagen and Rob Font.
