Miles Johns vs Dan Argueta set for UFC September 23 event
Miles Johns and Dan Argueta are reportedly set to fight at UFC Vegas 79 event in September this year.
According to the report from ESPN Deportes, Johns and Argueta are set to clash in a bantamweight bout on UFC’s September 23 event in Las Vegas, NV.

Miles Johns is coming back from his injury. He pulled out of his bout from June 17 UFC Fight Night event against Raoni Barcelos due to his injury. Before that, he defeated Vince Morales at a Fight Night event in November 2022.
A graduate of Dana White Contender Series 2019. Johns stands at 4-2 in UFC so far.
Dan Argueta’s recent bout was at UFC Fight Night event on June 17, 2023, against Ronnie Lawrence. The fight was declared a No Contest due to a wrong premature stoppage from the referee. Argueta has won four fights and lost one in his recent five bouts.
Argueta’s recent win came against Nick Aguirre at UFC Fight Night event on January 14, 2023, where he won by unanimous decision.
UFC Vegas 79 is scheduled for September 23 in Las Vegas, NV. A lightweight bout between Rafael Fiziev and Mateusz Gamrot is set to headline the event. A featherweight bout is set in the co-main event between Bryce Mitchell and Dan Ige.
