Lando Vannata Out of UFC Vegas 78 Fight vs Mike Breeden

Lando Vannata will not be competing in his scheduled bout against Mike Breeden, which was originally planned for August at UFC ESPN 51 event.

According to the report of Nolan King of MMA Junkie, Lando Vannata has withdrawn from his fight due to injury, although the injury has not been disclosed. Vannata was scheduled to fight Mike Breeden in the lightweight bout at the UFC ESPN 51 event.

As a result of Vannata’s withdrawal from the fight, it is currently unclear whether Mike Breeden will withdraw from the card or if he will get another opponent for the fight.

Lando Vannata is currently on a two-fight losing streak. Vannata’s recent fight was against Daniel Zellhuber at the UFC Fight Night event on April 15, 2023, where he lost by unanimous decision.

This is also the second time in the last two years that Vannata had to withdraw from a fight due to an injury. He pulled out of a bout against Andre Fili at a Fight Night event on September 17, 2022.

Mike Breeden is also coming off a two-fight losing streak. It remains to be seen if Breeden will get a new opponent for this event.

UFC on ESPN 51 or UFC Vegas 78 event is scheduled for August 12. 2023 in Las Vegas, NV, featuring a welterweight bout between Vicente Luque and Rafael dos Anjos in the headliner.
