UFC 284 Results LIVE from Prelims, Early Prelims & Main Card
UFC 284 PPV was live from Perth, Australia, and we were here to post results from the event from main card, early prelims, and prelims.
A lightweight title fight headlined the event as Australia’s Alexander Volkanowski challenged the champion Islam Makhachev. Volkanowski already held the Featherweight title and remained unbeaten in UFC thus far. #1 Pound for Pound ranking was also on the line as Makhachev would get the ranking if he beat incumbent Volkanowski.
The co-main event was for the interim featherweight title between Yair Rodriguez and Josh Emmett. The winner would get to face Alexander Volkanowski at a later date. The card also had many Australians on the card.
Main card featured Jack Della Maddalena, Parker Porter, and Jimmy Crute from Australia in separate bouts. Prelims saw Tyson Pedro, Joshua Culibao, Jamie Mullarkey, and Shannon Ross from Australia. Early prelims featured more Australians in Jack Jenkins and Shane Young. As many as 6 fighters made their promotional debuts on the card.
