Joseph Holmes vs Claudio Riberio Set for UFC 288 in May
A new middleweight bout is added to the match card of the UFC 288 PPV event.
According to the latest reports, Joseph Holmes is set to collide against Claudio Riberio in a middleweight bout at UFC 288 on May 6, 2023.
Iridium Sports Agency which manages Joseph Holmes was the first one to report this bout, which was later confirmed by multiple other sources.
Joseph Holmes is coming off a second-round submission loss against Jun Yong Park in October 2022. Before that he registered his solo UFC win against Alen Amedovski. He defeated the latter via an impressive first-round submission.
On the other hand, Claudio Ribeiro recently made his UFC debut against Abdul Razak Alhassan. However, he lost his inaugural UFC match via second-round KO.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Joseph Holmes will return to the winning path or Claudio Ribeiro will pick up his first UFC win at UFC 288.
