EVENT NOTES
The bout for UFC Bantamweight Championship between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo was earlier rumored for UFC 287 PPV. However, the bout was later announced by Sterling for this event. UFC confirmed this bout as the main event via a press release on March 8, 2023.
The event is expected to take place at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, as first revealed by writer & podcaster Ryan Fredericks. UFC confirmed the location via press release on March 8, 2023. It will be first UFC PPV in Newark since UFC 169 in February 2014, and the first UFC event since 2019.
