Tatiana Suarez Strawweight Return Set Against Virna Jandiroba for Aug 5 UFC Event

Tatiana Suarez is all set to compete in the women’s strawweight division after four long years.

According to the latest reports, Tatiana Suarez is scheduled to face Virna Jandiroba in a women’s strawweight bout at the UFC Fight Night event on August 5, 2023. 

MMA Melotto was the first one to report this matchup which was also confirmed by multiple other sources.  

Tatiana Suarez was having an unbeaten run before she was sidelined after UFC 238 due to multiple injuries. She returned to the octagon earlier this year and competed in a flyweight bout against Montana De La Rosa. Suarez proved she didn’t suffer from ring rust as she won the match via second-round submission. 

On the other hand, Virna Jandiroba is on a two-fight winning streak. She is coming off a unanimous decision win against Marina Rodriguez at UFC 288. 

Now, it remains to be seen whether Tatiana Suarez breaks Virna’s winning streak or will the latter finally deliver Tatiana her first UFC loss on August 5.
