Priscila Cachoeira vs Joanne Wood Set for UFC 291
A new flyweight bout is scheduled for the UFC 291 PPV event.
According to the latest reports, Priscila Cachoeira is all set to collide against Joanne Wood in a women’s flyweight bout at UFC 291 on July 29 later this year.
The matchup was first revealed in a report by the Mirror which was later confirmed by multiple other sources as well.

Joanne Wood recently snapped her three fights losing streak by winning her most recent bout against Luana Carolina at UFC 286. Before that, she lost against Alexa Grasso, Taila Santos, and Lauren Murphy.
On the other hand, Priscila Cachoeira is on a two fights winning streak. She is coming off a first-round TKO win against Ariane Lipski in August 2022. Before that, she defeated Kim Ji-yeon via split decision.
Now it remains to be seen which one of them will emerge victorious at the PPV event in July. UFC 291 is expected to be headlined by Dustin Poirier vs Justin Gaethje II.
