Tereza Bleda vs Gabriella Fernandes Set for June 17 UFC Event

A new women’s flyweight is announced for the June 17 UFC event. 

According to the latest reports, Tereza Blade will face Gabriella Fernandes in a flyweight bout at the Fight Night event on June 17, 2023. Marcell Dorf of Eurosports was the first one to report this matchup.

Tereza Blade earned a UFC contract by defeating Nayara Arnault Maia Correia at Dana White’s Contender Series. However, she failed to impress in her inaugural UFC match. She lost her UFC debut against Natalia Silva via third-round TKO. 

On the other hand, Gabriella Fernandes made her UFC debut recently in February 2023. She put on a tough fight before she lost the match to Jasmine Jasudavicius via unanimous decision. 

Now, it will be interesting to see which woman between these two will manage to register her first UFC win when they collide on June 17. 

UFC is yet to announce the location and venue for the June 17 Fight Night event.
