Two new bouts have been added to the match card of the UFC 289 PPV event.
According to the latest reports, Mike Malott vs Adam Fugitt and Khalil Rountree Jr vs Chris Daukaus will take place at UFC 289 on June 10, 2023.
Marcel Dorff of EuroSports reported both these bouts after an initial report from Aaron Bronster for Malott vs Fugitt.
Khalil Rountree Jr is on a three-fight winning streak. He is coming off a split-decision win against Dustin Jacoby. Whereas, Chris Daukaus is on a three-fight losing streak. He lost to Jairzinho Rozenstruik in his most recent match before losing against Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis.
Meanwhile, Mike Malott won both his UFC bouts and is coming off a first-round submission win against Yohan Lainesse. He defeated Mickey Gall via TKO in his inaugural UFC bout. On the other hand, Adam Fugitt recently rebounded from his UFC debut loss against Michael Morales. He defeated Yusaku Kinoshita via first-round TKO in his most recent bout.
UFC 289 will take place at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada, and will be headlined by Amanda Nunes vs Julianna Pena 3 for the women’s bantamweight title.
